The program shown below simply captures a picture, composes an email with an attachment and sends it to the defined address. Programs can be created using word processors like Wordpad, text editors like Notepad or you can use the built in program editor within CamExpand.

TAKES ACTION AUTOMATICALLY CamExpand allows you to monitor your computers display, directories and clock. It is designed to run unattended and takes action when defined colors appear on the display, when motion is detected on the display, when other software packages save new picture or movie files to directories or when the program scheduler is setup to wait for specific dates and times to occur. CONTROL CAMERAS FROM REMOTE LOCATIONS CamExpand can scan your inbox for emails that contain commands to run programs and program schedules saved on your computer. This gives you the ability to control your camera hardware from anywhere in the world. You can even use an email capable cell phone or palm device to control your cameras wherever you are. Use other computers on your LAN or WAN to control your camera hardware remotely. You simply use a word processor or text editor to create and save text files into a shared trigger directory that CamExpand is monitoring. APPLYS EFFECTS TO NEWLY CREATED & IMPORTED IMAGES CamExpand allows captured or imported pictures to be modified using several different effects. Multiple effects can be selected and they are applied after the picture is captured or imported and before it is saved. The effects will be applied if checked and in the order listed from top to bottom. If selected, the ENCRYPT effect is always the last one applied. Encrypted files can be viewed and converted using CamExpand Viewer.

SENDS CAPTURED IMAGES OR MOVIES CamExpand sends pictures or movies to any number of email addresses. It will create your email message automatically including subject, body and picture/movie attachments. Once the email message is completed it is sent to the defined addresses. As long as your computer is connected to a network, CamExpand is able to create and copy picture, movie and web page files onto other computers. This will give you the ability to view your pictures and movies remotely. Most internet service providers offer their users the ability to create and update web pages. CamExpand will allow you to upload picture, movie and web page files to your home page. It creates and uploads custom web pages from templates you set up. This will allow you to monitor and view your pictures and movies from anywhere in the world. You can even use an Internet capable cell phone or palm device to view your web site wherever you are. CREATES, UPDATES & SENDS WEB PAGE FILES TO SERVERS CamExpand is capable of creating web pages for your pictures that can be viewed from your network or the Internet. There are two types of web pages that can be handled by the software, STATIC and DYNAMIC. STATIC web pages never change and are just copied to network directories or uploaded to web servers. DYNAMIC web pages start out as web page templates that contain regular HTML, or any text, with special data tags that your enter. Each tag gets substituted with actual data before being sent.
